Easy Beef with noodle & vegetable broth


Serves 3/4


2 tblsp peanut oil

300 g sirloin steak (cut into strips)

200 g fresh Broccoli florets

1/2 medium sized Red Pepper cut into strips

1/2 medium carrots cut into strips

4 spring onions sliced at an angle

1 clove of garlic thinly sliced

2 tblsp light soya sauce

2 tblsp toasted sesame seeds

1red chili deseeded and sliced

1 tblsp freshly sliced ginger (galangal)

2 pak choi (quartered)

Chinese cabbage (shredded)

1 stock cube

3 liters of water



Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat; cook and stir beef until browned, about 4 minutes keep warm and set aside, Add water and stock cube, chili, garlic and soya sauce into pan, bring to boil then reduce to simmering. Now add your chosen noodles, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, peppers and pak choi into flavored broth, Bring back to boil and simmer until noodles are done. Place into large bowl then add beef and sprinkle seeds then garnish with spring onions.
