Italian Cuisine World Summit comes to Dubai & ICCA


The Italian Cuisine World Summit is a fortnight long international celebration of all things culinary and Italian.

The summit is organised by the Italian Restaurant Consulting, which is an organisation dedicated to the promotion of Italian cuisine globally and formed by a stellar network of well-established restaurateurs and Italian Masterchefs. In its eight season and the second edition in the UAE, the summit brings to gourmands and guests of all nationalities and ages, Italy’s best-loved food and a taste of its prized culture. Hosted at major iconic locations around the city, the summit will run from 7th until the 24th of November.

The summit has found an alliance with the Speciality Food Festival, which is the most exciting exhibition of gourmet and niche food in the Middle East. The summit will see a sea of Michelin-starred Italian Master Chefs descend on Dubai, featuring live cooking Masterclasses, to a series of gastronomic cooking competitions, live demonstrations and gala dinners as a mark of celebration of Italian cuisine. This would bring to the emirate in one scoop all the very best that Italy has to offer.

ICCA kitchen has been the chosen to play host for the Pizza UP and Masterclass workshops for the summit. The school is a flurry of activity at the moment, and one can feel the excitement in the air. It is also good exposure for the students who can absorb so much from the experience.

With Chef Mario Caramella president of GVCI announcing pizza as the official dish of the 10th international day of Italian cuisine 2017, the thrill has doubled. GVCI is Virtual Group of Italian Chefs, with a network of more than 2,200 chefs, culinary professionals and restaurateurs across 70 countries. Italian cuisine as you can gather is very global.

Dubai is truly a gastronomy melting pot of world cuisines and it is here that you get to experience it all in full glory.
